Halloween Frights around Wisconsin

Getting into the Halloween spirit this time of year can be pretty easy. There’s just something spooky about trees with no leaves swaying back and forth in the howling wind. With Halloween itself falling on a Sunday, there are lots of opportunities around the state to take in an entire weekend of ghostly fun.

Fish Creek in Door County is holding their 2nd annual Jack-o-Lantern days this weekend. Sponsored by the Fish Creek Civic Association, the event includea trick-or-treating for the kids, a costume party for adults, a Haunting Halloween and Costume Pet Parade and more.  Details can be found at www.fishcreekinfo.com.

Green Bay has Spooktacular fun at Lambeau Field this Saturday. From 10:00am to 4:00pm, enjoy family style entertainment at the Miller Lite Gate. On Friday and Saturday, take in the Haunted Concourse. The Haunted Concourse features a PG-13 thrill event with proceeds going towards the Make a Wish Foundation.

Madison has a host of spooky activities, including Trick or Treating on State Street this Friday for the little ones, Stageworks annual production of Drakula at the Stoughton Opera House, and Planet Bike’s annual costume bike ride Friday at Five.
