Are you looking for a fun activity for the family during the Christmas break? If you’ve never been to Wausau’s Sylvan Hill Park, you really should head on out for an afternoon of snow tubing fun. The park has six snow tubing runs and two tow ropes. A chalet with concession stand is available for warming up. Although it can get quite busy if the weather is nice, the wait lines to get up the hill are never too long. If tubing is not your style, Sylvan Hill also has about 5K of cross country ski trails winding around the park and adjacent golf course. The park is open daily during winter break and on the weekend through the beginning of March. Details and directions are on the Marathon County Government Site.
