Looking for something a little different than the average car show? The Iola Vintage Military Vechile show may be up your alley. In its 19th year, the show hightlights all sorts of antique and vintage military vehicle. over 25 Jeeps from the Kwause military collection will also be on display over the weekend.
The Iola Vintage Military Show promotes the conservation, preservation and display of historic military equipment. This event will share and invites the display of military history as an important role military veterans and their equipment have made for peace and freedom.
The array of other collector’s vintage military vehicles and equipment of the past will continue along with Vintage Tractors and Equipment which played such a big part of the past.
Other activities for the weekend include a swap area with historic reenactors, blood drive, gun show, and a USO style dinner and show Saturday evening.
The show run Satuday and Sunday August 14-15, 2010 on the Car Show grounds in Iola. Admission is $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for chilren under 12. Details and directions are available at www.iolavms.com.
